Need name of menstrual African women's illness please?

Hi, there are a number of women in Africa who suffer from a disease where there is constant bleeding from their menstrual cycle. I think the disease starts with the letter M but am not sure. There is a website where you can donate money for this cause but I don't know the man of the illness. In Biblical Scripture, there is a story of a woman who suffers from such an illness and is cured by touching Jesus' robe in the Gospel of Mark. I think it is a problem that is due to the uterus and has to do with childbirth. Thanks all
