What can i use as presentation material or get class involved?

i have to do a paper on chronic obsessive pulmonary disease and chronic heart failure, along with the paper i have to do a presentation to class. I plan to give a handout that shows like worldwide statistics and Us statistics as well as the pamphets that you find in hospitals or doc offices but i was trying to come up with something a little more exiting to present. any ideas ?

What are possible charges for being caught underage shoplifting?

I have a friend that was caught shoplifting at Walmart with about 70 dollars worth of merchandise. My friend's a bright boy with great grades in class but he just didn't make the greatest decision. He was brought to the back room and was asked for his information. He cooperated and he was told that there will be a fine. However he says that he doesn't know how much it will be. He plans to go to court and plead quilty. No policemen were involved and he also told me that it wasn't a necessity for him to go to court? but he plans to do it nonetheless. He asks what are the possible charges for shoplifting? He's 17 and after going through this experience I truly believe he won't be making the same mistake again. This was his first time shoplifting. He's seen his friends do it before but never did it himself. Today, he decided to try it and got himself in a mess. Is there a way to determine the fine? And will this go on his permanent record? If it does, is there a way to expunge it? Can anyone give some advice on how to deal with this? Such as what sort of process to take in order to keep his record clear? Although he hasn't told me but I believe that he's hoping that going to court and pleading guilty will help ease the charges. Will it though?

Will an expunged record affect my ability to get a top secret security clearance?

3 years ago I was accused of 2nd degree assault. The details of the case were a mess and it was basically thrown out of court because the accusers couldn't prove they had actually accused the right person. They even had my name and description wrong. I was never arrested or convicted. I got the record of the case expunged so that it wouldn't ever show up in my background. I just joined the army and my MOS will require a top secret clearance. On the form I had to fill out I answered 'no' to all of the legal matters questions because I was never arrested or convicted. I understand that the investigators will be able to see that I had something expunged, but will it affect my ability to get a top secret clearance? Thanks!!

Can I work as a RN with a Misdemeanor conviction?

I am continuing my education in hopes of attaining a ADN. (Associates Degree in Nursing) What is the likelihood/unlikelihood of landing a job? The conviction is over 6 years old. It was for theft under $500. I have not hired an attorney yet to have it expunged, because im not sure what good it will do.They say some people(schools, hospitals) will still be able to see the record. Doesn't it "expire" after seven years anyway? This was my only arrest, only conviction, and no drugs were involved. I was 20. I hope it doesn't ruin the rest of my life. I've grown up a lot. ...felony conviction (buglary) as 17 yr stupid teen still on my record (very hard to expunge in my state where 17 not 18 starts the your age of record). I have had an led a near perfect life since with impeccable referneces but just can't get hired. Any real suggestions???

High School Loneliness ( Started in 5th grade to my now present junior year in highschool)?

Hi, I am sick of the same **** I keep getting year after year. I am a nice person who is very active in athletics including football and wrestling, I am ADHD and Dyslexic, I've pretty much outgrown my ADHD though and i have mild dyslexia, also I was once very outgoing with anyone I met. Since my 5th grade year to my junior year in high school, I have been so lonely and down that I hate every day of life now. I haven't had a friend since 5th grade. During my freshmen year in high school I was bullied as in 5th grade to 8th as well. I eventually became fed up with one of my bullies and got into a fist fight with him. I was expelled from that school. My sophomore year in highshcool was suppose to be the year that everything would change. I would be going to the school I had first picked to go to while I was in 8th grade. I had many former friends there and my two younger brother went there to. I soon became depressed during the end of the first semester and let my 3.66 GPA average slip to a 2.22 average. I failed all of my mid terms and final exams and joined the football team. I thought that if I played football, I might make some friends or gain some awareness of some of the players. I also thought that I might have the opportunity to become involved in a relationship with a girl since I have never had a girlfriend before. I already know that no matter what I do, my junior year and future is going to the same way. And to be be honest I done and don't even talk to anyone unless necessary now. I know Im a born loser, and that just that. I also know that about 10 different happy, worry free people are going to feel sorry for me and right some bullshit response to this. My response to those people is not to bother with me im just done.
